We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee patient support programs, engage with stakeholders, and manage program logistics in the healthcare sector.

Role Overview

The Technical Manager will report directly to the Chief Business Officer and will be responsible for managing and optimizing patient support programs. This role requires direct interaction with multiple stakeholders including clients, healthcare professionals, and patients while also handling administrative responsibilities both in the field and office. The Technical Manager will play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of the programs and maintaining quality assurance while building relationships with various healthcare entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage patient support programs by liaising with clients, institutions (hospitals, insurers, NGOs, etc.), healthcare professionals, and patients.
• Ensure timely enrollment of eligible patients according to established project workflows.
• Prepare monthly monitoring reports on patient numbers and provide quarterly quality assurance reviews.
• Maintain electronic program files while updating patient and quality assurance data efficiently.
• Foster relationships with government and key stakeholders at national and international levels.
• Represent Axios at relevant meetings and conferences, highlighting opportunities for project growth.
• Develop and manage program budgets while overseeing daily office activities and line management of junior staff.
• Participate in required training sessions such as Pharmacovigilance and report adverse events as necessary.
• Conduct all program activities using Axios’ Patient Management System (PMS).

Requirements

• Degree in Science/Health related discipline.
• At least 4-5 years of professional experience working as a Technical/Program Manager within the healthcare sector.
• Strong IT skills with experience in database design and management (Excel).
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Ability to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders including clients, healthcare professionals, and government entities.
• Flexibility in traveling to clients and partners as required.
