Role Overview

As the Technical Product Manager, you will be the driving force behind the product’s journey from its current sandbox phase through beta and into full production. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the product vision, define the roadmap, and ensure seamless execution across all stages. You will serve as the crucial bridge between Australian-based clients and an India-based development team. Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and deliver features that reflect real market needs and client requirements. Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software developers to translate client and business needs into clear specifications, scope, timelines, and UI/UX expectations before development begins.
• Client & Developer Bridge: Act as the primary liaison between Australian clients and the India-based development team, ensuring what is requested is accurately understood, built, tested, and delivered as specified.
• Quality & Delivery: Drive quality and delivery by ensuring builds are properly scoped, delivered on time, tested before release, and accepted by clients.
• Release Management: Manage the full release cycle, including testing coordination, beta management, and production releases, ensuring issues are resolved before clients encounter them.
• Client Onboarding: Support the readiness and onboarding of paying clients as the product grows, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
• Risk Mitigation: Anticipate and mitigate risks by thinking ahead about potential pitfalls in client onboarding and product delivery, closing gaps early.
• Cross-Cultural Management: Demonstrate ability to manage international clients across time zones and cultural expectations, ensuring high satisfaction and clear communication.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Experience with React, Angular, or Vue (preferred but not mandatory for full-stack exposure).
• Backend: Strong depth in Java, .NET, Python, or Node.js (mandatory for backend-focused candidates).
• Databases: Working knowledge of SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• APIs & Integrations: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern deployment practices (CI/CD, version control such as Git).
• AI/ML: Exposure to AI/ML concepts, including identifying use cases for LLMs, automation, and data-driven features.
• Security: Understanding of cybersecurity protocols and secure development practices (data protection, access control).
• Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or similar product and project management tools.

About the Team

You will be part of a small, agile team with direct access to the CEO, allowing for rapid decision-making and significant impact. The team values transparency, innovation, and mutual support.

10-15 years of overall experience with a strong track record in product development and management. Proven experience managing a software product through its complete lifecycle, from roadmap definition to delivery and release. Hands-on coding experience is required (early-stage career coding acceptable). Experience working directly with software development teams and managing technical product management responsibilities. Experience liaising with international clients, preferably in Australia, across time zones and cultural differences. Working knowledge of at least one SDLC methodology (Agile, Scrum, or Kanban) and familiarity with product/project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Exposure to cybersecurity protocols, AI/ML use cases, and secure development practices is beneficial. Excellent communication, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management skills.
