Role Overview

We are looking for a Test Automation Lead with extensive experience in Quality Engineering and Automation Testing, preferably between 8–12 years. The ideal candidate will possess robust knowledge and hands-on experience in Playwright, Selenium, Java, and Python. In this role, you will lead the automation framework development, mentor a team of engineers, and push for AI adoption to enhance testing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
• Create automation scripts leveraging Java and Python.
• Lead automation initiatives while guiding a team of automation engineers.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Implement AI-enabled automation capabilities, including script generation, self-healing features, intelligent test data generation, and failure analysis.
• Collaborate in Agile environments with development, business, and QA teams.
• Perform code reviews and uphold automation best practices.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of QA/Automation experience with 3+ years in a lead role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Python.
• Experience with TestNG/PyTest, API automation (REST Assured/Postman), Git, Maven, and SQL.
• Proficient in AI-assisted testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and Cursor AI.
• Capability to build reusable automation frameworks and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Appium, accessibility testing, performance testing, and cloud-based test automation platforms (BrowserStack/Perfecto).
• Knowledge of Agentic AI and modern Quality Engineering practices.
