Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate UX & UI Designer to join our team, bringing with you up to 2 years of experience. This full-time, on-site position in our Gurgaon studio presents an exciting opportunity to take ideas from initial wireframes to high-fidelity mockups, ensuring designs that are visually appealing and user-friendly. You will play a crucial role in guiding the design vision independently on select projects while collaborating with developers, product managers, and clients on others.

Key Responsibilities

• User Research & Requirements: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and understand user requirements and business objectives for each project.
• Conceptualization: Create user flow diagrams, sitemaps, and wireframes to visualize design solutions.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity mockups. Build interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Webflow, etc.
• Visual Design: Design engaging interfaces with a focus on layout, typography, and color palettes. Create intuitive UI elements like navigation menus and forms.
• Iteration & Usability: Refine designs based on feedback from users and team members, aiming to improve usability and user experience.
• Communication & Presentation: Present design concepts to internal teams and clients, articulating your design rationale effectively.
• Collaboration & Implementation: Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Consistency & Standards: Maintain visual consistency across projects and contribute to style guides and design systems.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest UI/UX trends and propose improvements to our design processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. A strong portfolio may substitute for a degree.

Experience:

• Up to 2 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably in a design agency or a fast-paced in-house team.

Technical Proficiency:

• Core Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
• Supporting Tools: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, and Webflow.

Portfolio:

• A professional portfolio showcasing your design process, impact metrics, and a variety of projects across platforms.

Core Competencies:

• User research and testing experience.
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, information architecture, and prototyping.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) is an advantage.
