Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our textile showroom warehouse. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management, preferably within the textile, garment, fashion retail, or showroom operations sector. This role is critical for maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring efficient inward and outward movement of products, supervising warehouse staff, and coordinating with multiple internal teams. The Warehouse Manager will play a key part in optimizing warehouse processes, minimizing losses, and supporting overall business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Handle inward and outward movement of sarees, dress materials, fabrics, garments, and accessories.
• Maintain accurate physical and system inventory through regular audits and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper tagging, barcoding, SKU management, and bin/location control.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor stock by design, colour, shade, fabric, size, and lot/batch where applicable.
• Ensure proper storage and handling to prevent damage, stains, moisture issues, and loss.
• Coordinate with the showroom team for timely stock replenishment.
• Supervise warehouse staff, allocate daily tasks, monitor productivity, discipline, and attendance.
• Manage loading, unloading, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping, safety standards, and optimal space utilization.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and warehouse reports.
• Update all stock transactions accurately in the ERP/WMS system.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Accounts, Logistics, and Management teams.
• Support internal and external stock audits.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and take corrective actions.
• Continuously improve warehouse processes, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Tech Stack

• ERP/WMS Systems: For stock management, transaction recording, and reporting.
• MS Excel: For data analysis, inventory tracking, and report generation.
• Barcode scanners and label printers for tagging and tracking.

Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/inventory management. Experience in textile, garment, fashion retail or showroom operations preferred. Experience managing warehouse staff and daily activities. Good knowledge of inventory control and stock reconciliation. Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/WMS software. Good communication and team-management skills. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
